Company Audi has shared the first details about the next novelty - a compact hatchback which should make a competition to family of Mini. This car will show in some days in Tokyo where it will be presented as the concept car under name Audi Metroproject Quattro. On preliminary data, novelty Audi will receive system of an all wheel drive and a hybrid power-plant battery block has settled down in a luggage compartment under transparent glass through which are visible also knots of all-wheel drive transmission of the car. No other details about a technical stuffing of the concept car while are present.But at Audi Metroproject Quattro there will be own multipurpose device uniting in portable МР3 player, the information with which can be deduced on the small color display in the meter panel center, and also function of a mobile phone and navigating system. Besides, on the screen of it gadgets the status of security system of the car can be deduced.
As information given by some sources, the serial car will receive the whole ruler turbo engine in volume from 1,2 to 2,0 liters and power up to 200 horse powers. Base cost of such car will make about 25 thousand dollars, and all in a year is planned to exhaust 80-100 thousand similar hatchbacks. The novelty batch production of this cool car will begin in 2009.
