The new compact model of the company - Ferrari Dino - has started the first series of over-the-road tests on track Furno.

The debut of a new Ferrari as declared president Ferrari of Luca Di Montezemolo and CEO Jean Todt on Geneva auto show. As they said, the car will be brought on car show to Paris.

For the present not clearly, as name model - it is represented to the most probable Dino, however it can be and indexes GT420 or 470. The car create on the basis of model Maserati GranTurismo, the novelty will receive engine V8 and will take a place between Ferrari F430 and Maserati GT.

Ferrari Dino as toy model will go on sale this year.

Ford prepares the RS-version new Focus it was known for a long time: in a network repeatedly appeared various novelties. Official date of premiere Focus RS - July of this year became now known.

On the international motor show in Geneva head Aston Martin Doctor Ulrich Bez, has declared to journalists, that serial version Vantage RS will appear on sale in the end of current year.

It is expected, that the coupe begins to be completed with 6-litre motor V12 power of 600 h.p. the Maximum speed of the car will make 300 km/hour, and for dispersal to first “hundred” model it is required only 4 seconds the Main competitors of “Englishman” name models Ferrari and Porsche.

Coupe cost is not defined yet, but, on data which journalists have, for Vantage RS it is necessary to lay out more than $200 thousand.

In Geneva the premiere of sports car Audi R8 TDI Le Mans equipped with the powerful diesel engine of configuration V12 has taken place.

This of sport penalties with high degree of probability will go to a batch production. We will remind, on a motor show in Detroit company Audi already showed R8 with engine V12 TDI, but that was only concept.

The open version of model А5, according to earlier data, should show on the Geneva car show this year, however on platform Audi in Switzerland a new cabriolet it was not observed.

As has informed a management of the German company, A5 Convertible will not seem on public till January of the next year when it debuts in Detroit. To make the car intend at factory in Germany.

Cabriolet A5 will receive collapsible top made of cloth with the electric drive. Under a car cowl will take the place the same engines, as on the coupe version: 3,2-litre petrol V6 and diesel motors in volume of 2.7 l and 3.0 l. Top version becomes S5 with 4,2-liter engine V8 and all wheel drive system.

Auto show in Geneva is bright and full of unusual cars, for the prepared not only world motor-car manufacturers, but also the small private companies, and also the tuning studio always was famous. This year the Bavarian studio Mansory has exposed on show a prestigious variant superpenalty Ferrari 599 GTB. The car tuning firm known for the predilections for cars of marks as Aston Martin, Bentley and Rolls Royce, undertook completion Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano. Mazda has released new special version of RX-8. A series of 250 cars of Mazda RX8 Kuro will appear on sale already in the end of a month. The car have christened Kuro, that in transfer from the Korean “black” means.
Any technical information of the car it was not released yet, changes have concerned only body and interior elements. Considering that basic competitor RX8 - Nissan 350Z already was many times updated both technically, and outwardly, for Mazda for a long time already has come it is time to update the car. (more…)
