Jaguar XK will try diesel engine
When one year ago management Jaguar in London held presentation of model XK has been declared, that the car will be completed only with petrol power-plants. But time, to be exact, cost of automobile fuel, was introduced by the corrective amendments.
Considering the prices which have increased to impropriety for petrol, and also observing of success of the diesel version of model BMW 635d, company management Jaguar has come to conclusion to equip the car with a power-plant similar to those that is used on “Bavarian”.
New diesel motor V6 in volume of 2.7 l will replace the 3-litre petrol engine which will appear too “unprofitable” for model in a ruler. Power of the power unit, by data from various sources, will make more than 250 h.p. that should not be reflected in dynamics of the car in any way, writes edition AutoCar.
